Desert Cancer Foundation
Desert Cancer Foundation was founded more than two decades ago to pay for treatment of cancer patients who lack insurance or sufficient funds to pay for their medical care. Desert Cancer Foundation works with the support of local healthcare professionals. Program applicants are individually reviewed by a patient assistance committee, which includes volunteer medical professionals, medical social workers and a medical financial counselor.
Desi Strong Foundation
We want to provide children and their families with items that made our extended stays in the hospital more manageable, and our daughter’s treatments more comfortable. We want to assist with providing money for food, gas, and other expenses. We want the siblings of the patients to know that they have not been forgotten.
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation
Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to honor America’s fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit Foundation has developed and expanded programs that fulfill that mandate. Our mission is to honor and remember America’s fallen fire heroes and to provide resources to assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives and work within the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries. - NFFF
Firefighters Burn Institute
The Firefighters Burn Institute is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded by the Sacramento Area Firefighters Local 522 in 1973, for the purpose of establishing a local burn treatment facility; providing recovery programs for burn survivors; providing fire and burn prevention through public education; funding education for burn team professionals, firefighters, and burn survivors; and supporting burn treatment and rehabilitation research. - Firefighters Burn Institute
Toys For Tots Foundation
The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
